INSPIRATION
I have captured the essence of beauty through this piece titled LOVE.
Beauty is often phrased as “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. It’s such a subjective notion, like art really. We connect with a piece that holds us, that captures our eye and tugs at our heart strings. Often pulling up memories from years gone by. My Mother was the essence of Beauty, inside and out. I wanted to create a piece that she would love. She loves flowers and was a true believer in LOVE. Beauty to me is LOVE.
Real beauty comes from within. It radiates like a light and has a sense of wellbeing. It's the light flickering in our eyes. It's the bursting heart beating from our chest. It's the gentle hug or the knowing grin. It's the feeling of being held by a higher being.
Sometimes beauty comes from hardship, it rises from the ashes. Beauty has layers, rough and smooth. It can appear in fleeting moments or stay forever.
