“Filling My Well” for Educators

My Approach

I aim to deliver workshops that are grounded, thoughtful, and practical, so each participant leaves with wellbeing strategies that genuinely resonate. My hope is to offer as many helpful ‘life tools’ as possible, resources educators can carry with them and draw on when they need them most.

Why This Work Matters to Me

After 28 years of teaching, and through many ups and downs, I have seen firsthand how valuable these wellbeing strategies can be. They have supported me personally, and I am passionate about sharing them with as many educators as possible.

Bringing wellbeing and art together has shown me how powerful creativity can be in expressing both the spoken and unspoken. Sometimes, creating an artwork gives us the space to process, release, and reflect in ways that words alone cannot.

Drawing on my knowledge, life experience, intuition, and expertise, I’ve created workshops built around everyday practices. As educators, it’s easy to become worn out from the constant demands of the job, so I’ve designed a workshop especially for them. The Wellbeing Workshop for Educators is a full-day session focused on supporting mental, emotional, social, spiritual, and physical health. I work closely with each school to tailor the workshop to their unique needs, recognizing that every staff and student group is different.

Topics include tools and insights for personal wellbeing, stress management strategies, mindfulness and relaxation exercises, creativity, and work-life balance.

These workshops equip educators with resources to enhance their wellbeing, which positively impacts their teaching and relationships.

Investing in staff wellbeing boosts engagement, productivity, and enthusiasm for all.

I would love the opportunity to share this experience with your team and support the wellbeing of those who give so much every day.

Why Schools Choose Steph

Steph brings 28 years of teaching experience, is a professional artist, and has a lifelong commitment to art-based wellbeing practices. Her workshops are grounded, gentle, and deeply human, offering staff a rare opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and feel genuinely supported.

Through her signature program, Filling My Well, Steph blends creativity, emotional literacy, and reflective practice to help educators build resilience, restore balance, and rediscover joy in their work.

Her approach is not about “fixing” staff, but about honouring their stories, their courage, and the emotional labour of teaching. Every workshop is thoughtfully crafted, using art as a practical tool for wellbeing, connection, and renewal.

Schools value Steph’s ability to create safe, nurturing spaces where staff can breathe, reflect, and leave feeling lighter, supported, and inspired.

Testimonial

“As the principal of St Mary’s Primary School, Crookwell, I am constantly seeking ways to support the well-being of our dedicated staff members who play an integral role in shaping the future of our students. Stephanie's "Filling My Well" workshop emphasised the critical importance of a holistic approach to self-care and well-being, a lesson that is often overlooked in the demanding field of education. The gentle nature of the workshop allowed our staff to engage in various activities, from art and yoga to nutritious food tasting and storytelling. These activities were thoughtfully curated to inspire our staff and provide them with the tools they need to prioritise their well-being.

Stephanie has a remarkable ability to connect with people on a deep level. She created a safe and supportive environment where our staff felt comfortable sharing their thoughts, concerns, and personal experiences. By doing so, she not only encouraged self-reflection but also fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie among our team.
In a single day, Stephanie managed to guide our staff through a journey of self-discovery and reflection.

Stephanie's workshop was a rejuvenating experience for our team, and I wholeheartedly recommend her services to any educational institution.”
